Youtube Catch Up #20

'iya loves,

What a busy week it's been! I'm seeing my little nephew Aiden today. He's so beautiful. I promise you a post is coming soon all about that! I have big news as well. I'm going to be leaving home and moving out. I'm moving in with my chum bear aka Amanda. I've just started a new job so I'm currently going through the process of working out what I'm going to need, sorting things out etc. It's going to be a long process and will take at least a couple of months to get everything sorted but I couldn't be happier and I feel like this year is going to be my year. Things are happening for me and this year I'm moving on from everything bad. If you've got anything bad in your life that's weighing you down, get away from it, whatever you have to do just get away from it. You'll feel so much happier. Trust me. It's such a relief once you've set the wheels in motion.

Now I've cut down my blogging schedule I feel I focus more on spending time with my nieces when I do see get to see them. Obviously I'm now back working full time again it's difficult. Keira's turning ten on Thursday! That's crazy! I finally finished her box and it's full to the brim with goodies, she's been so spoilt! She deserves every present in that box and I can't wait to see her face when she opens it!

As for me my list of Youtube videos is getting longer which is good I said I needed inspiration and you guys are giving it to me which is good! I want to know what you guys want to see so I can keep making you guys happy! I love knowing your feedback for that reason!

Urban Decay | Naked Palette

'iya loves,

I'm going very old school with this post. As I've just done my best of beauty 2014 video and included the Naked 3 palette in that video, I thought it was about time I featured those palettes here on my blog starting with the first naked palette. Now I've had the first one in my collection for nearly 3 years now and I absolutely love it. It's warm tones which I love. I love neutrals anyway, I'm a massive fan of them. I can't say this is my favourite Naked palette however because it's not and if you've seen my video you'll know which one has stolen my heart but I think this one comes next. I always find myself going back to this one if I don't know what to put on my eyes. I know there's a lot of dupes out there now and I do have the Undressed palette which I have featured on my blog. If you'd like me to a comparison post then please let me know. I personally however would still pick the Urban Decay palettes, I just can't get enough of this line I think it's brilliant, you've heard me in my videos rave on about how brilliant I think these palettes are.

L2R: Half Baked, Buck, Sidecar, Naked, Sin, Virgin

L2R: Gunmetal, Creep, Hustle, Toasted, Darkhorse, Smog

The thing I love the most about this palette is how many colour combinations you can do. You can literally throw together shadows and they just go. It doesn't matter how much of a rush you're in they will just go together which is what I love. I love Naked and Buck they're gorgeous mattes. I love that there are two matte shadows in this palette. They work great as brow shades as well. The highlight shades are stunning. Sin is one of my all time favourite colours from Urban Decay, as well as in general for eye shadow. It's stunning for all over the lid and a bit of naked and buck in the crease. I have my set favourites that I use all the time that I know just work for me. I absolutely love toasted It's one of my favourite colours in the palettes. However, creep & gunmetal make really gorgeous smokey eye colours. So you've got a really nice wide variety. I see so many questions in the beauty group I'm in with the girls asking which palette should they get, do they need them all etc. Once you've tried one palette, I guarantee you'll want them all. The quality is amazing, the shadows are buttery and smooth, they blend like a dream and are so easy to work with. I want a Naked 4 palette :) Get it for £37 here.
Let me know your favourite! 1,2 or 3!

The Body Shop | Ionic Clay Mask

'iya loves,

It's been a hot minute since I've done this and it feels good to be back doing it. I thought I'd do a skincare post because let me just tell you I'm battling with bad skin right now. I went to see my consultant for my migraines on Monday and I'm coming off my current tablets as they're giving me horrendous skin. I finally worked out what it was causing my skin to break out after months of trying to get rid of breakouts, sorting it and then more appearing. Today I'm telling you about a face mask which has become a holy grail I can't live without and it appeared in my best of beauty 2014. It's that good.

This is the Ionic Clay mask from The Body Shop and it's from their Seaweed line. Now this is actually aimed at combination/oily skin. I actually have normal skin and at the moment it's more on the dry side. However, I get breakouts and blackheads, and my face right now has been breakout city. The idea of this mask is to pull everything to the surface. So as you can see its a charcoal colour. When you've got the mask on and it's drying when it's bringing everything tot he surface you'll see little darker dots appearing, if you've got any, and that will be all the nasties that the mask is pulling out of your pores. It clarifies your skin and I also find it very refreshing. I like to often use it when I'm having a bath so kind of do two things at once. At the moment I've been following this mask up with a moisture mask because my skin has been that bad due to the tablets. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't cause any sensitivity, or break me out which is great. I've found it really helps to keep my breakouts at bay, and if I've got any on my face at the time when I'm using the mask it helps to calm them down and get rid of them. If you're on the look out for a new mask this is definitely one to get your hands on! Especially if you're someone that has a nasty blackhead/pore/breakout situation! Find it here.

Let me know your favourite masks!

Hello 2015, Goodbye 2014.

'iya loves,

We're already half way through January nearly and I'm only just getting round to doing this post! I've been so busy! Forgive me! In so many ways this year is going to be the year for change this year! It's going to be a positive year this year and that's partly why this blog has been so neglected this month already because pardon my French but I've been getting my shit together. I had a really crappy end to last year, and felt awful, I literally only did blog posts to correspond with videos that we're going up on my channel and that was it. I didn't have much other motivation. I'm back though and I feel good.

I've had my annual clear out which is partly what I've been doing and why I've been gone so long. That involved giving a quarter of my make up collection to Amanda. Every year I go through my make up collection and anything I don't want, anything that's dried up normally gets binned. A small bit got binned that was no good. The rest got boxed up and got given to Amanda, it was like Christmas all over again. I've sorted out all my skincare & LUSH stuff. Who knew organising could make you feel so good.

I started my new job last Monday, and I am currently doing my training so I'm just settling into that so if I'm all over the place that's why. I'm working with a great bunch of people but I absolutely love it. I feel like it's going to be a fantastic year in that sense, I really do.

Two diaries this year, one for my bag, one for home. It's working guys ;) I've got a notebook for blog posts and video posts so every time I have an idea I can write it down. Amanda wantes me to do a Disney series on my channel which I'm thinking about, but that will be spread out all over the year not in one month because that would be way too many videos. I do want to know what you would like to see from me this year though, so feel free to request videos and I will add them to my list! In regards to my blog and posts, I don't quite know how my schedule is going to go this year. I am changing it I know that much. I was posting Monday-Friday however, I may change that to 3 in the week perhaps Mon, Wed & Fri. I'm not sure yet! I'll let you know when I know for certain.

So last year is over and I'm leaving quite a few things in 2014. It was a year I do wish to forget for many reasons. However it was brilliant for many other reasons. I had great times with my family. We went to the Isle of Wight, Ashdown Forest, Howletts etc. I had so many great times with my nieces who are growing up so quickly it's unbelievable. Keira is turning 10 in 10 days! New job opportunities, I got to do so many new things. My channel grew, I got so much support and love from you guys which is incredible and it's still growing now.

This year my main aim is to be more focused on myself, making myself happy, being more positive and doing more things that make me happy. That's so important it really is. I plan to spend more time with my chummy as the beginning of last year I really didn't! Some great little news which I will be doing a blog post all about soon I have a new little nephew called Aiden he was born last Tuesday! He's so beautiful pictures to come! I had my first cuddle today! He's so precious. That makes me an Auntie for the 7th time.

I'd love to know what your new years resolutions are!
I'll also leave my latest videos below for you guys to catch up on!
