The Body Shop | Strawberry Body Polish

'iya loves,

I love a good scrub especially for use in the shower not too sure why I just don't really tend to use them when I'm having a bath. The Body Shop's body polish is a more of a liquid scrub that really lathers up nicely. My skin always feels super soft after using this not to mention the scent lingers. You know how I feel about my scents guys! This featured in my April faves and can I just say it works wonders on feet! I know it's not really a topic that everyone likes talking about but it's great. I need to get my hands on some more of these in different scents. Let me know if you've used these and your thought's. Find it here.

Soap & Glory | Peach Party

'iya loves,

Today I want to talk about something that you'll see in my June favourites as I've been back obsessed with this! Soap & Glory Peach party is a shimmer brick. You can swirl all the colours together or just use one! It's a gorgeous peach colour which adds so much radiance to the face! You don't really need to add a highlight with this but of course I have been because I'm loving to be highlighted especially in summer. This product blends flawlessly, it's not patchy or chalky! I love the packaging and I also love the fact there's a decent sized mirror too as it makes it suitable to carry around in your handbag when you need to touch up your make up! Definitely a top summer product that I'd recommend! Find it here.

June Birchbox UK 2015 Unboxing!

'iya loves

So it's been a little while again hasn't it?! It's been such a busy year for me so far but I'm back with a Birchbox post to go along side my Birchbox Unboxing Video for you guys. I've been receiving Birchbox for 6 months now and I can't believe how quick that's gone for me. There's not been a fluke box for me yet where I don't like any of the products which is brilliant so I'm really happy so far and would totally recommend this subscription box. It's great to try and discover new brands!

This months box Birchbox have teamed up with French Sole to offer you 3 different designs. Now each month Birchbox allow you to choose something you're going to receive, or in this months case the design of the box. I think this is a great idea because you are guaranteed to get something that you like or you've personally picked and the rest is a surprise. I was too late to pick this month so try and get there early to ensure you get your pick! I also love that by reviewing your box you get 5 points per each thing you review. Once you get too 100 that's £10 you can spend in the shop or put towards next months box. Each time your box is processed each month you also get points so it's really easy to let them points build up!

This months box looks a little something like this...

Birchbox normally include 7 products in the box which I think is great because I feel like you really get your money's worth! It's nice to have cheeky little extra's I feel anyway!

So first up we have the perfume sample which is such a fresh summer scent I love it! It's honestly one I would consider purchasing the full size! This is rare as normally perfume samples I use them and that's the end of that! This is English Laundry by No.7 and it's beautiful. It retails at £60 which may be quite pricey but I'd get my fair use out of this! Perfume samples are also great to chuck in your handbag and leave in there for those days where you forget to put perfume on! Happened to me many times, and that's saved me by doing that!

Mirenesse secret weapon iCurl 24hr mascara is the second product in this months box! I'm always excited to see make up products in boxes each month especially mascara's! For some reason I seem to need to try every mascara that's out there. The only issue with that is that I am literally so fussy! I know what I like and it doesn't take me long to find out if I like a mascara or not. This one I've tried out and tested and to be honest it's not my cup of tea. That's not to say that it's not good, as it may be something you'd like. It gives a very natural finish to the lashes and adds plenty of length. My only issue with this mascara is that it lacks volume! I'm someone that needs the volume and length for my lashes so this doesn't really work for me! I love however the fact it doesn't transfer at all which is great as that can make me dislike a mascara too! Overall though if you're someone who's looking for natural everyday long lashes this could be a good option for you! The full size retails at £24!

I've seen so much hype around this wipes especially on youtube! I was most excited when I saw they we're in this box! They smell so fresh and obviously of cucumbers which is perfect for summer! I can imagine them being really refreshing! For a sample size receiving a pack of 10 towelettes is pretty good going! The full size retails at £4.99 which is nice and affordable so I'm expecting good things!

I don't know about you but I go through shower gels like there's no tomorrow so I'm always happy to see one in my box! This comes from Balance Me and I've had a bubble bath from them before which was from a Glossybox! This is a moisturising one which lets face it is a god send as we need to moisturising our skin! It's quite a fresh scent so it's not over sweet which is refreshing for me as I normally gravitate towards sweet scents! The full size retails at £9 so again it's on the more affordable end of the scale!

Temporary Tattoos are so in this year and I don't know about you but they can look super great especially if you're attending any festivals! I think these ones would look absolutely gorgeous with a tan! I'm thinking of perhaps trying them out and doing a festival look tutorial what do you think?! These retail at £7.99 and come in plenty of designs!

Lastly I have these two samples from Beauty Protector! This hair oil protects your hair from UV rays and heat damage! It smells so good guys, you know what I'm like with scents and this one is a winner! I think the two sample bottles are so cute! You need the tiniest bit of this product 1-3 drops and then just smooth into your hair working from root to tip! I'm so excited to give this a go!!

I think this months box was a really good one! Everything in this box I shall be using! I have to say I think my favourite is the perfume sample (smells gorgeous), the wipes and the hair oils! Let me know what you think of this box I'd love to know your thoughts!

Mischievous | Revlon Matte Lip Balm

'iya loves,

Bit of an orange theme on the blog today! You know what I'm like as soon as spring hits I'm back into the orange lip thing that I seem to rock every year now. I think it is one of my favourite colours to wear on the lips, and probably my fav in the warmer months! There's just something about it! I love the fact that I own really vibrant oranges but also more muted down, pastel oranges too. This one is classic example of a muted down pastel orange and it's in the shade mischievous. It's part of Revlon's matte lip balm range which I think are fantastic! I don't find them to be too drying considering they are matte. With some matte lip products they can be really drying which I dislike! I still always apply a lip balm before applying one of these to the lips just to make sure my lips are smooth otherwise if you cracked lips it will show through! I love these crayon lip products though I think they're so handy to throw in your bag and apply on the go! I definitely want to get more colours! They retail at £7.99 and are normally on offer in Boots! Find them here.

Let me know if you've tried any of the balms with it's the lacquer's or the mattes! Let me know your favourite colour for this time of year!

Vitamin E Moisture Mask | Superdrug

'iya loves,

As I'm currently sitting here with this on my face after doing a pore unclogging mask I thought it would be appropriate to actually tell you all about my favourite moisture/hydrating mask! I love a good face mask, doesn't everybody?! Especially when you have a pamper night and do two in a row, yas. I purchased this back in January when my skin was in desperate need of some TLC. Breakouts everywhere, dry patches.. the lot it wasn't pretty. I needed some serious hydration. I wasn't really expecting too much as this was incredibly cheap from Superdrug.. however I was pleasantly surprised! Now it comes out the same texture as a moisturiser. Depending on how well you wish to hydrate your skin will depend on how much you use. Sometimes I use less, sometimes I go a little crazy with how much I apply to my face. Bare in mind if you do slather your face with this like I've done tonight, it will take longer to sink in. I normally let this sit on my face for 20-30 mins before wiping the residue with a tissue. I love the fact that this face mask has Vitamin E in it. As you know I love The Body Shop's Vitamin E range as it works really well especially for sensitive skin. My skin freaks out with certain products, so that's another thing that made me pick this up. I'm so glad I did as one use and my skin already felt smoother and softer. It does what it says and gives good hydration which everyone's skin can do with from time to time as a pick me up!  Find it here.

Let me know if you've tried this face mask! They also do a few others in the line from Superdrug all £2.59 each. Quite often on promo 2 for £3!

Mango Body Butter | The Body Shop

'iya loves,

I don't need to explain my love for body butters as it's pretty obvious that I'm obsessed! Always have been I think they're amazing for moisturising and they have so many great scents! The Body Shop body butters are my absolute favourite! I've tried others but I always go back to these! Their Mango scent is to die for especially as we're now in Spring and going into summer! There's nothing better after a nice relaxing bath or shower than smothering this all over my body! The scent lingers on you as well which I really like, mainly because the scent is obviously what makes me purchase it! You know what I'm like with my scents! This is good stuff though! Let me know if you've tried any body butters from The Body Shop and what your favourite one is! Find this one here.

Pretty Pastels | Monthly Faves.

'iya loves,

I have been super productive with filming lately it's been insane! I'm loving it though! I have so many fun ideas for spring/summer tutorials but I would also love to hear what you guys would like to see! I feel like this year is going by so quickly, like we're in May already! Not to mention I've been rubbish at blogging this year.. I'm trying to find the time to blog however a full time job, a youtube channel and a blog kinda makes it difficult haha! I'm moving this month though which excites me greatly! It means I get to see my chummy all the time and not when we get the occasional day off to spend time together! I've been absolutely obsessed with my bubble baths again! Quite possibly I'm trying to lower my LUSH stash before I move because it's still completely out of hand! Oops..

I had the day off work today so I got to spend time with Fia which of course I love! Last week when I was off was so good as I got to do so many things with Fia that I used to do all the time but now hardly getting to do! Literally, she got paint everywhere in the kitchen the clean up was quite something! She even managed to get paint up the wall by the stairs! I don't know how she managed it! By the time she had finished in the bath the water was pink! I also took her into my work which she loved! Everybody thought she was so adorable which she is most of the time! Today was more a chilled day with her, we went food shopping and then she went completely hyper from Ribena. Oops, my bad. We then watched Monsters University and Monsters Inc. Both films she loves! I'm so proud she's a little Disney addict!

I want to get back into my review posts as well because I feel like I've not done very many of those this year.. probably because I haven't right?! oops. I did get a package of China Glaze polishes today which I'm excited to try out and review for you guys! They're really fun bright summery colours! Bright orange, blue and purple! I cannot wait. Where I work deliveries and in the kitchen my nails get wrecked at work however, I painted my nails for the first time this year and want to get back into doing so as I have so many nail polishes!!

Monday my April Favourites video went up! It was quite a chatty video with many bloopers as I decided to film outside and as usual it didn't quite go as planned! I miss doing my longer chatty videos so I really enjoyed that one! Today saw a spring tutorial go live on my channel, featuring a colourful palette from Zoeva. I really like how the look turned out. It's fun and bright but it's not too bright as I used pastel shades! Check them out below!

Monday Haulin'

'iya loves,

It's Monday! Normally I hate Monday's but it's the start of my long week off which I am so excited for! As you might be able to tell it's time for me to get back into the swing of things on here and my channel! I thought I would give you guys a little more of an update with what I've been up to! I've got a haul video coming up for you guys soon which is absolutely huge.. oops. I went to Primark.. and well a lot happened and sooner that I remember my basket was full. Everytime this happens! I saw Harry Potter pjs and clothing and I was sold. You know how it is with me and Harry Potter!

These have become one of my favourite things of life! I absolutely love them! Each year I normally end up buying new summer PJ's and I always get them from Primark has they have such cute, fun designs!

I have also been delving further into the world of LUSH. As you guys know I'm a huge fan of LUSH! I love all their bath goodies but this time round I decided to control myself and focus on their skincare! I love their Mask of Magnaminty I think it's amazing and really works well on my skin! The same goes for the toner water as well I previously have owned the same one only in a smaller size. I should have picked up the big bottle then because it's good stuff! Added bonus of it also makes you feel like you're at the beach! Quick little update for the ocean salt scrub! I was so intrigued by this and it so far as been working wonderfully not to mention it also smells great! It just doesn't taste very nice! I've also used the cosmetic warrior face mask which made my skin feel so good afterwards! I will warn you this one isn't exactly great for scent as it contains garlic but other than that it's good stuff! I think I'm going to give cupcake a go tonight!

How cute is this phone case guys?! I'm a Disney fan through and through! When I spotted this case on Ebay I was instantly like 'mine'. I absolutely love it. Not to mention it's got my fav in the corner right at the bottom ;) Still obsessed with elephants guys! I love the quote too I think it's really cute!

Lastly I am absolutely loving orange lips! I think it's going to be my fav colour now for the warmer months! I've always loved wearing orange lipsticks/glosses but for some reason this year it's more intense! Hoops & curled hair as I explained it the last post is a must for me right now too! On that note I plan to do my make up for the day and film a hair video for you guys! I hope your Monday isn't too bad for you!

That Spring Feeling.

'iya loves,

so it's been a little while hasn't it?! I'm full into the swing of those spring vibes right now! I'm absolutely loving it, more importantly orange appears to be my colour at the moment! I'm loving wearing it on the eyes, lips & clothing wise! I've changed shades of red twice in the past two months and I've got my next shade lined up which is coming in a future haul! Not to mention my current love for curled hair! I curl my hair and then it will last until I next wash my hair which is great, it means as the days go on the curls get messier and more effortless which I love. Can we just also speak about my current obsession with hoops.. it's becoming a slightly problem! Which you'll probably see in my upcoming favourites video!

Easter has been and gone and we had all 4 girlies in that time to stay for 2 nights & 3 days! Least to say it was hectic! Got about 12 weeks left of having Fia on a Thursday & Friday and then she's off to school! That has gone so quickly, when did she get so grown up?! Keira is staying tonight to make up for the night she missed out on due to her being unwell bless her! My parents are off on their holiday as of Monday! Which means I've got filming time to film some looks! I'll give you an insight, I've got two collabs in the pipeline which I'm so excited for! I've also got a Hayley Williams inspired tutorial which I need to film coming up! That was a requested tutorial! I also went to start a new series on my channel which I've got lots of ideas for I've just not had enough time to even begin filming that! I'm very excited!

As with my job the store has been open 5 weeks now and we're finally getting into our routine. Everything has calmed down a lot which is great because it means I can get back to doing this which I love!

Needless to say we've also planned a trip to the zoo in September! This was mine and my sister Nikki's doing! We thought little Aiden would love it, and we're getting the whole family together as a family outing and to do something for the mass of birthdays that will be happening in September! Of course I need to check up on my elephants too and renew my adoption!

I'll leave the latest videos below if you've not seen them yet! New video coming sunday loves!

Youtube Catch Up #22.

'iya loves,

How's your week going so far?! I've had the week off work as I had holiday to use up before next month. I was going to film a requested tutorial yesterday however I spent the day fixing my hair. Long story short my usual hair dye that I use which I showed you in my haircare routine did not take to the middle and some of the ends of my hair. I think that was a sign that I needed a change. I've had that colour for quite a while. The most common thing us girls do after a break up is change our hair mine was just 4 months later haha! My new shade of red in the light looks like Ariel's hair and when my hair isn't in the light it's a more red toned red if that makes sense which is darker than my previous colour. I think it suits me and looks much better. I feel a lot happier with my new colour. I used a L'Oreal hair dye in the colour Scarlett Power. I plan to switch it up once this has faded and it needs dying again by giving my hair a true Ariel colour in all light :) I said this year was the year for change and that's definitely happening.

Today I've spent the day with my nieces and baby nephew Aiden. I promise a post about him is coming soon I've just not had time to write about that beautiful little boy yet. He's so adorable and the noises he makes are just hilarious. He was doing little goat impressions earlier whilst drinking his bottle. Tomorrow I'm going shopping with my mumma and then Saturday I'm off to see Fifty Shades of Grey with my chummy, then we're going shopping and then we're having a much deserved and needed night out. Sunday will be spent recovering from no doubt the night before and then Monday it's back to work for me.

LUSH | Drummers Drumming.

'iya loves,

You know my love for baths I am just obsessed. I've just got out of a nice hot bubble bath right now so that proves my point! Today I wanna talk to you guys about a reusable bubble bar wand from LUSH. I used this up last week and to be totally honest you get quite a few uses out of this, depending on how many bubbles you like. If like me you like a lot then I think this lasted me about 6 baths which is really good. I love the fact this is bright yellow and pink! I love bright colours especially on LUSH products. Now this smells so good I can't even tell you guys. It smells of strawberries and cream and it's just so good! It's not sickly sweet like for example snow fairy. I feel that's a great product if you like that type of scent if you don't you won't like it. With this though I feel it's more subtle. You get a slight tint to the water as well, it's a gorgeous baby pink colour. Where obviously you're not breaking it up like a normal bubble bar you're not getting as strong a colour. I love these wands though they're so worth the money. If LUSH bring more wands out with another collection - they did last year for mother's day.. it's definitely worth checking them out and picking one up!

ELF | Tone Correcting Powder

'iya loves,

This powder is such a great setting powder. The idea behind the four colours is that it's supposed to be a tone correcting powder. It also absorbs any excess oil on the face so any of you oily ladies out there this could be a good option for you. Not only that, it aims to make your skin look healthier, mattify, brighten and neutralise your skin. Whilst doing all of that it's a sheer powder so it's not going to add on top of what you've already put on your face making you look cakey. I've hit pan on my first one of these powders and already have a back up. It's a great little setting powder and something I've always over looked until I decided to try a bunch of new stuff from ELF. Give it a try as a setting powder and see what you think! It's £3.95 (a steal!) and you can find it here.

Youtube Catch Up #21.

'iya loves,

I'm liking the fact that I've cut down on blogging for the time being. It's so much less pressure. As of right now migraines are getting worse rather than better. New medication and trialling it small dose at a time is not helping the situation but hopefully we'll get there. Not to mention, I've gone down with a cold as of today so feeling pretty damn lousy! On the plus side though, everything else is going well. How have you all been?!
I've got quite a few videos to share with you today if you're not subscribed to my channel and I've got a valentines day tutorial coming up on Wednesday so look out for that :)

Beyonce | Midnight Heat.

'iya loves,

It strikes me this has not yet featured over here on my blog yet as it was a top favourite from 2014 and I'm still obsessed with it. I've been wearing it for the past month straight. There's just something about it. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's the perfume from Beyonce called midnight heat.

The first thing that caught my eye with this perfume is the stunning purple colour that this perfume has and it's almost like an ombre effect. I have heat rush from Beyonce and it's one of my favourites. This I think might just trump that because of it's gorgeous sweet scent. I love sweet scented perfumes. I always have and I was sceptical with this one so only got the small bottle when really I should have got a bigger one. This perfume is very sultry and sexy but it's still wearable in the day which I love. It's great for evening wear as well. I love it's one of those that you can wear for either because most of mine are strictly day time or evening and that's it. Let me just say this perfume has a lot of stuff in it. It's fruity (opening nodes) - plum and star fruit, orchid, black tulips and purple peony for the heart nodes and lastly for the base nodes - warm amber, sandalwood and patchouli. Like I said there's a lot! If you're looking for something with warmth, slightly floral but also sweet this would be the one for you. Give it a try! Find it here.

BIRCHBOX | Hit Refresh | January 2015.

'iya loves,

If you weren't already aware I am giving a new beauty box a chance. As you know I used to be subscribed to Glossybox and then I stopped receiving those as of last April. I had a break from beauty boxes and decided to give Birchbox a go. Again like with most beauty boxes there are good and bad reviews. That's how it is. Unfortunately as a company you're never going to please every single person who is subscribed as it's virtually impossible. From what I've seen from this months box though it looks quite promising. January's box is partnered with Womens Health, so the products obviously reflect health and well-being.

First of I absolutely love the packaging. The box is smaller than what I'm used to with beauty boxes but I love that it's not as big as others. Really cute design on the box as well and I love the colour scheme. Again, like most other boxes you get a card telling you information about the products included and more info on the box itself. Once you open the box up all the products are neatly contained in a little bag with a pull string so they're not rolling about your box which I think is a great idea. Instead of five products you get a total of seven in this months box! I think the mix of products is also great as it's not all make up items which is great!

stila lip glaze | £15 | full size
First off can I just say how excited I was to receive a Stila product. I love their eyeshadow's and face products so this was welcomed into my collection. I've never tried any of their lip glazes but I've heard good things. Mine is in the shade glamour which is a gorgeous berry toned pink. It's so stunning especially for this time of year. It's beautiful. This is going to look stunning on everybody! It's quite a sticky texture but I think this really makes it stay on the lips so I can look past that. There's hints of shimmers in it too which is so pretty especially when the light catches it. It comes in a twist pen which I really like because it means your not going to waste any product. I'm also a fan of the applicator too which is like a normal lip brush. I'm pretty certain you'll see this in a tutorial soon & that I'm going to want other colours!

activbod cooling finish lotion | £12 | 20ml sample
Who can resist body lotions? I'm like a hoarder when it comes to them! What I really like about this one is that it's got cooling menthol so you're going to get that cooling effect. I know some people aren't fans of that but I really am. It also has vitamin e in it which is really great for sensitive skin. The idea is that you use this product after the gym or you've exercised and it's supposed to help you re-energise. I'll let you know how I get on with this product!

embrace matcha green tea | £24.99 | sample 30 servings according to website.
I love tea, so when I saw this product in my box I was most excited. The end of last year I really started getting into flavoured & herbal teas. Now the ingredients of the product are supposed to be better for you than regular green tea. Matcha is 100% natural and has 10 times more antioxidants. You can use this as a tea or blend into smoothies and juices! I look forward to giving this a try.

birchbox pilates band | £7.99
this is an exclusive to Birchbox and is the lifestyle item for the box. I think this is a really good idea especially if you're into working out. The idea is that it's supposed to tone, increase strength, and improve muscle endurance. According to the info sheet it advises to incorporate the band into your workout for extra resistance and faster results!

agave healing oil treatment | from £16 | 5ml sample
I'm always excited to try new hair products especially if they're aimed at damaged hair. With me dying my hair red obviously you can imagine it gets quite damaged and often is dry and not looking it's healthiest. So what is this oil supposed to do?! It's a lightweight oil which is great because you don't want to be putting something in your hair that's going to weigh it down. I hate that and generally stay away from products that do that. It smooths hair, builds resiliency and boosts shine and colour. Exactly what I need in a product. I'm excited to try this. This is only a small sample but you only need a tiny bit each time roughly about the size of a 5p piece. If I get on with this I may look into a full size depending on results so watch this space!

dr. jart+ skincare | from £13 | full size
This was the other product I was most excited about receiving. I love skincare, in fact I'm somewhat a skincare freak and this excited me greatly. This product is specifically aimed at refining pores, whilst exfoliating and smoothing your skins surface. I'm excited because it's a gel texture and I don't have many products in my collection that are a gel texture. This product you'll be seeing more of once I've tested it out a few times. It does say to use it once-twice a week so bare that in mind!

electric hair hydrate shampoo | £17.50 | 30ml sample
I like receiving hair products and this one is a hydrating shampoo. My only gripe is it would have been great if they included the matching conditioner so you can actually test the product out properly. Obviously using another conditioner from a different brand is going to blur the results. It aims to give your hair that much needed moisture so I shall definitely give this a go.

beauty blender & blender cleanser solid | £26
This is actually the reason I decided to go with Birchbox because I got this free when as I was a new customer. This is worth £26 so I think that's a pretty good freebie! This takes my total of beauty blenders to 4. I've been meaning to purchase the cleasner solid for a while so this is more than welcome in my stash. I'm not sure if the offer is still in but it's a great one for all you new customers out there!

I think this box is a great first box and I look forward to seeing the next one! Let me know your thought's if you've received the January box!
