 Revlon Lacquer Balm In Demure.

Revlon Lacquer & Matte Balms are the newest additions to their balm line. I've reviewed their kissable balm stains, so if you want to check that out feel free. These I feel are better, they're more moisturising, glide on and are more pigmented. Demure is a gorgeous nude. It's stunning with a bold eye look. I've got a tutorial coming up where I used this colour. I think Revlon have really got it right with this launch. 10 Lacquers and 10 Matte balms which pretty much cover nudes, oranges, corals, bright pinks, bright reds and purples. The range itself is gorgeous. I own three of the lacquers at the moment but I want to get more. It's going to be like Pok√©mon again ladies, gotta catch em all! For sure! This is the most popular shade amongst beauty bloggers and youtubers at the moment and I can see why. It's going to go with any eye look, cheek look and outfit. It's one I'd want to always have handy as I wouldn't have to worry whether it would clash! I'm obsessed! Are you?! Find them for £7.99 in Boots, Superdrug and here. Quick note, they are currently buy one get one 1/2 price at Superdrug and are £5.99 at the minute so go grab them quick!

'iya loves,
My beginning of the year massive haulage was when I purchased this baby. This comes in two shades brunette and blonde. I have the brunette shade. Now this bronzer has three different shades to it so if you really wanted you could go for a more subtle look or a more defined bold look. What I like to do with this though is swirl a brush in it and mix all three together to warm up my face. If I am going to contour and use this same bronzer I dip my brush in the darker shade (normally a smaller brush) to add some depth to my face. It works well as both which is great because it means if you're travelling you don't need to have two bronzers with you. It gives you a sun kissed look. Now to me this bronzer isn't completely matte but it's not glittery and shimmery. It has a bit of a sheen but it's nothing cray. It's nothing disco ball like either. It does have an odd scent almost like grandma perfume ha! If you know what I mean if you've got these then you get me! It's pigmented so be careful don't be too heavy handed otherwise things may get a little orange and muddy. It comes in at £5.99 and you can find it here.

'iya loves,
Ladies, we all know my love for a good scent and moisturiser. I'm obsessed with The Body Shop body butters. They're my favourite and they're something I always come back to. Although they're £13 a tub, normally they've always got some kind of discount on. If you're a cardholder too, you always get 10% off so it's happy days all round. I just really love how moisturising and good they feel on my skin. The scent lingers on my skin all day it doesn't fade after an hour like I've experienced with others in the past. They absorb fairly quickly into the skin. I'm just in love with this scent, it's getting my excited for summer. Fruity scents I love to use spring/summer time because it's more appropriate ha! I love my sweet warm scents for winter. Yes, I'm weird. I think strawberry is one scent that everyone has all tried from The Body Shop. My mum absolutely loves it, she's obsessed! Either way body butters are the way to go, especially for getting those legs out on warm days! Find them here.

printed trousers from Matalan* tee and cami Matalan* Gilet & Flip Flops - New Look
If you've seen yesterdays video then you'll have seen these in my spring haul. I'm so glad I picked these up. Normally these are completely out of my comfort zone because they're printed. Especially the purple daisy ones. However I think they're my favourite pair. The black and white ones are more simple and 'less in your face' than the daisy ones. I thought these would be great for either on holiday.. I've been using that excuse for every item of clothing I've bought recently! But honestly, they would be great! They are also great for days when you want to look put together, because as you can see in the top photo you can dress them down or bottom photo, dress them up. I really have come to love these types of trousers. It's a nice change from leggings and jeans. Not only that they are more fun than your typical standard linen trousers. For me they're a definite must have in any girls wardrobe!

'iya loves,

Pearl - this is obviously a stunning pearl colour. Whites and colours that are just 'off whites' are so in at the moment. Definitely on point for the current trends.

Truffle - This colour is quite unique. It's a gorgeous nude that literally will go with anything. If you like to match your nail colour to your outfits then this one is one for you. I love this nude and I'm not really a neutral person when it comes to nail polishes.

Blossom - A gorgeous baby pink. I think it looks stunning on the nails. It's one of those colours which I think looks better on than in the bottle. It's a perfect baby pink for spring even summer if you're not into your neon colours.

Heather - This is one of my favourites from the collection. It's a gorgeous lilac. I love a good lilac on the nails. The silk effect makes it beautiful.

Mist - This one without a doubt is another favourite of mine it's blue. It's a gorgeous baby blue. I love my blue nail polishes I have so many! This one looks stunning.

Meadow - This is the colour I underestimated. I don't often wear green all that much. I've really discovered a love for green nail polish. This one is gorgeous. It's a gorgeous pastel mint green which is one of my favourite colours to wear on the nails.
Barry M have launched a new spring collection which looks stunning and is gorgeous. All these shades are pastel which are on point for spring. The finish of these is very difficult to explain. It's semi-matte but gives you that silk effect you get when you look at silk. The formula is beautiful on all of them, two coats and they're opaque. I definite favourite of mine for spring nail launches. Barry M I feel can do no wrong when it comes to their collections. Always cute colours and names too! The names are very spring inspired which I love. They are £3.99 each and you can normally find them on offer at Superdrug or Boots. Find them here. I'd wear these all year round I think they're that stunning. Which one is your favourite?!

'iya loves,

The red obsession is back ladies. Yes I love a good red lip. I love a bold lip in general so I probably have a million and one reds in my collection. They're all different to me haha! Anwyay this one is one from Rimmel and is a lasting finish lipstick. It doesn't go everywhere which is nice. Sometimes with red lippys you can find it smears everywhere and bleeds and all sorts. I love Rimmel for their lip colours. The formula is so good it just glides on, they smell amazing, and colour pay off is just stunning. This is one of my favourite reds in my collection. I'm obsessed. I know spring is typically the time to get all the corals and pinks out however this is just calling me at the minute and it's what I've been reaching for! Find them in your local Boots or Superdrug for £4.99 or here.
do you ladies sport a red lip on a regular basis?!

'iya loves,
Did you all have a lovely Easter?! I did. Apologies for the no video Sunday as well I've been battling with this cough and cold which I reckon has turned into an infection for a couple of weeks now. I have days where I think I'm getting better and days where it's bad again! Now most of the time when it comes to my nieces and Easter I get them clothes as they get so much chocolate it's cray.
Now Fia absolutely adores Monsters Inc! She has so many Sulley things, when I saw this little Mike costume in the sale after Christmas I had to get it and put it away for her! She's a little monster herself and I think she looks adorable!
I've been obsessing over the Too Faced pretty rebel palette! If you don't have it and you love colour and shimmer you need this palette in your life. It's stunning. Looks so gorgeous on the lids and just is a must. Can you tell I'm slightly obsessed?! I almost forgot I ordered this when I ordered the chocolate bar palette because I've been obsessing over that one too. That one smells like heaven minus the calories! I filmed a look yesterday featuring the palette which I wore in my latest video because I thought it was gorgeous!
I added a bit more drama to it however kept the bright pink lower lash line! I think that's a really fun way to wear colour for spring! It looks fun and just brightens everything up! I know I'm wearing two different lip colours in the pictures above. The first is NYX Round Lipstick in 'hot pink' and the second is Rimmel's Lasting Finish in 'Alarm' which is featuring on the blog this week ;) Nice little plug haha! I'm back into my reds again! I love a bold statement lip and I went very dramatic with the liner too! I wet the brush with ELF mist and set to create a more metallic look with the main colour which is called girly from the pretty rebel palette! It's a gorgeous duo chrome colour which I'm in love with! I can't wait to show you guys the finished look I'm in love!
Here's todays video for you as well! Slightly negative than normal I apologise! My videos are normally upbeat and positive! However if you see the title that is why! Today's main post as well accompanies the video! If you're new please subscribe for more! Love you all millions xoxo

'iya loves,

This months theme for the box is supposed to be sweet treats. To me the products that are in this months box don't really correlate with what the theme is. I find this often with products though. For example last months was spring inspired so a highlighter would have been perfect for that to give dewy fresh skin. This is going to my last box. For me this is as bad as January's box. I am not impressed whatsoever. Should the quality return to what it used to be I may return but until then I'm not going to continue paying for something which I'm no longer enjoying and end up throwing the products away because I have absolutely no use for them. Reading reviews just on Glossybox's Facebook page has told me there are a lot of people out there that are highly disappointed by this months box. Not only that they've just received the same reply as everyone else. I'm not entirely happy with the service I received.
First up is TRESEMME INSTANT REFRESH DRY SHAMPOO. My thoughts?! I personally hate this dry shampoo. For me it does absolutely nothing to my hair and leaves a white cast which is impossible to get out of your hair. It doesn't refresh at all. I love Batiste that is my favourite brand for dry shampoo, it works, smells great and is a staple for me. This I thought I'd like due to loving their hairsprays and heat protectants. This just does nothing for me. This is the travel size which to me seems ridiculous. You can pick this up in Boots or Superdrug for £2.50 give or take. Another product that you could easily pick up yourself. I'd have not expected to have received this, or I'd have at least expected to see the full size. I won't be using this and no doubt will end up throwing it away unless my sister wants it! You can find it here.
MONU SPA WARMING GINGER MASSAGE & BODY OIL. Another disappointment for me personally. If I honestly counted up all the Monu samples I receive and the feedback that I've given saying I don't wish to receive anymore yet I still end up receiving them I'd be rich. I don't necessarily dislike Monu, however their products are not really something I'm all that interested in. This is heavily scented, now not really being a fan of ginger is already a problem. Because my skin is sensitive I wouldn't want to put this in my bath. I don't like the scent at all, and wouldn't want a bath smelling of this. To me this is a complete waste as I will not be using it. Body oils if I were going to use I'd get something aimed at sensitive skin which is not so heavily scented. Another let down for me. The full size is £25 and you can find it here.
HE-SHI PROFESSIONAL TANNING FACE & BODY GEL. I personally have no use for this product. I have nothing against fake tanners nor people who use them. I prefer a gradual tanner for myself if I am going to use it which is rare at the best of times. Simply because I think it looks more natural. I would never apply fake tan to my face as I have sensitive skin. My main issue with this is if you read the little card you get with all the products listed and info etc it says applied best with a tanning mitt. Now for first time users they more than likely aren't going to have a tanning mitt. It seems silly to me to add a product in without the mitt as you're not going to get a decent application, which could lead to streaky tan. Not a good look aye ladies! This is the travel size and is £7.95 for 50ml, find it here.
EMITE MAKE UP LIP BRUSH - L312. Having received two Emite products before and not being thrilled with them I didn't have much hope for this product. To me this looks like an eyeliner/eye shadow brush. Definitely not something you'd use to apply lip colour. To me this is too big to be working with colour and get a precise defined lip. I put this to the test before filming the video for this months box. I was not surprised at all. It was so difficult to get a smooth line from this brush where it's such an odd shape. I don't really understand the concept behind the brush. The only good thing is the wideness of this brush helps to apply colour quickly to the middle of your lips. I won't throw this brush out but I will probably only use it for eye shadow, lip colour just doesn't work at all for me. Now this retails for £17 and you can find it here.

MEMEME COSMETICS BEAT THE BLUES - PEARL PINK. I initially have no problem with the brand MEMEME they are a drugstore brand so are obviously affordable. This initially caught my eye as a dupe for Benefit's High Beam it is honestly so similar. It's cray. As you can see in the first swatch it looks pigmented. Blended out though it's not visible unless the sun is shining on your face. Literally, if you want a subtle highlight this is probably for you. I think it's a good highlight if I'm looking to tone things down a little bit and just have a natural glow. I'm wearing it in my monthly Glossybox video. This retails for £5.50 and you can find it here.
So overall I'm not impressed there's one product I will use, three that I definetly won't and one that I just don't know what to do with. To say this box was rubbish was an understatement. I am disappointed and will not be renewing my subscription unless something drastically changes. Reviews, and beauty profiles in my eyes don't come into consideration when deciding what products to send out. Nothing is personalised at all, and as for luxury products that doesn't seem to happen at all at the moment. It's little samples you can find in the drugstore for a couple of pounds or free. If you liked your box then I am happy for you! If you didn't then I feel ya ladies! If you have any suggestions as to what are good beauty boxes out there then let me know!

'iya loves,

Before January I used to think Benefit was an overrated brand with outrageous packaging. They are most known for their little boxed blushes/powders. Hoola is a cult beauty favourite amongst most beauty bloggers and youtubers. It is literally as good as everyone says it is. This has converted me into being a massive Benefit fan. This bronzer doesn't look like it's going to do anything in the box however I think this could work for a wide variety of skin tones. It's absolutely beautiful. I use it as a bronzer just to warm up the face and I also LOVE it for contouring. It gives you that depth without looking orange or muddy. It's a matte bronzer too so you don't end up looking like a disco ball which isn't cute. Now benefit isn't necessarily cheap, but their products are amazing. The brush I actually use for contouring and I find it to be alright. It's not amazing but it's not awful. I'd definitely recommend this bronzer for spring/summer. It's become a staple in my makeup bag. It's £23.50 and you can find it here.
do you love Hoola?
