herbal essences: bee strong strengthening cream.

'iya lovelies,
I have sung the praises of the 3 out of the 4 products in the Herbal Essences bee strong collection. They are quite literally the bomb. They've taken over all the other hair products I have. A firm favourite and definitely a must try! If you're already a fan of Herbal Essences then I expect you won't be disappointed! This is specifically aimed at damaged hair. It aims to strengthen and nourish your hair. Which it definitely does in my opinion.
When I first saw this product I was little confused to how to use it. I'm so glad I bit the bullet and gave it a whirl because I use this every time I've washed my hair, just before I dry it. You want to use this when your hair is damp, massage it in then comb and apply other styling products. The aim of this product is to protect your hair from combing damage whilst strengthening your hair. Brushing particularly knotty hair definitely damages your hair more which is not a good thing! You know when you were little and you had those sprays which detangled hair?! This makes me think of those because it works!
It makes my hair smell even better, it's got the same gorgeous as smell as the rest of the collection has. Apricots and honey! It smells so good I could eat it... probably not the best idea ;) The scent lingers on my hair which I love. I love how soft and silky my hair feels too. That's a pet peeve of mine if my hair doesn't feel soft! It's affordable like all Herbal Essences products and most places that sell Herbal Essences often have offers and deals on so you may be able to pick it up even cheaper! I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn't given it a whirl. If you've tried the other products in the collection go get you some. If you've not tried any definitely go get you some.

rimmel: fix and perfect pro.

'iya lovelies,
I'm fairly new when it comes to primers. I'm someone who uses moisturiser before applying foundation however I like how a primer changes how a foundation will sit on my skin. I used to think they weren't important but now I can honestly say unless I'm in some mad kind of rush I don't leave the house without that step! Now there's a whole range of primers out there and didn't want to spend too much to begin with seeing as I'm still new to this.
I went to my local supermarket when they had all Rimmel products £5 and under! That's a fab deal considering some products are almost £10. As shown above this product is £6.99 for a 30ml tube. You only need about a pea sized amount you don't want to use too much. As shown above also it comes out at first white however once you blend it in you cannot see it at all it's completely clear.
I love how my skin feels after applying this it feels velvety soft. My foundation also just glides on and helps the blending out process. Some foundations require more blending than others so I find a primer really helps! My love for Rimmel itself is just something that I may have to do another post on because most products I've tried I can't really say a bad word about. Not only does it make your skin look more flawless, even out your skin tone etc.. it also prolongs the wear of your foundation. If you find that a foundation isn't lasting all day try using it over a primer you'd be surprised how well that really works!
So this primer is a 5 in 1 product smoothes to minimize pores, resurfaces for an even complexion, brightens skin, mattifies and eliminates shine, protects skin from environmental aggressors. 4 out of the 5 I'd say I'd agree with. The last one 'protects skin' I'm not entirely sure I've seen results from that. Everything else it seems to be entirely true. It's such a fabulous product! My skin looks healthier, brighter, pores are minimized and my skin tone is more even! Overall I really enjoy this product and if you didn't know Rimmel do a primer go pick you up some! If you've not tried it then go pick you up some! I'm sure you will not be disappointed!

mid week round up #9.

'iya lovelies,
With just under a month to go until Christmas who's already excited?! I know I am that's for sure! My decorations and tree are going up most likely this weekend! I am already into the Christmas spirit and have been for weeks! I've had quite a less busy start to the week which has been really nice! My parents go away Friday! I cannot believe how quick that's come along!
It's been a bit of Harry Potter obsessed week, currently as I'm writing this I have the Lego 1-4 game paused because it's frustrating me that badly haha! I love the Lego games they really get me hooked. They follow the storyline really well and add some humour into it as well ;) Right up my street! I've also been on a baking spree as well, made some brownies for my sister in law who's currently not too well and my first caramel cheesecake! I'm really impressed with how that one turned out. Normally I do a strawberry and vanilla one! I added caramel sauce to the topping, and then added caramel sauce and crunchie pieces once it was set! It's gorgeous and I shall be making another!
What else have I done?! well remember when I had that spontaneous moment and cut my full fringe back in after years?! Yeah that happened again last Friday, at about 2am! It's the kinda thing that I do spur of the moment, currently loving it but we all know it will last max 2 months and then I'll be back with my side fringe again! Force of habit!
Do you guys also ever get them phases where you go months without painting your nails?! I probably went three months with no nail polish on simply because I was being lazy. I love having my nails painted and they are currently Key Lime by Barry M. It's one of their gelly hi shine formulas which you guys should know by now I love! I'm also really loving their matte collection too! I ended up picking all five up cos you know I can't just have one! They're perfect for this time of year! Full review coming up soon for those as I've only used 2/5! I wanted to give my nails a pop of colour seeing as it's gloomy here! I also find when I paint my nails my nails end up getting longer quicker! I don't know how that works but do any of you experience that?!
Currently loving.. yeah this week I've been currently obsessed with one starbursts. Bit of an odd obsession but I forgot how good they were! I had some at work the other day and it's got me hooked on them! Harry Potter I'm still obsessing over not too sure why! Peanut Butter Kit Kat's oh my gosh they're amazing. If you love kit kats and peanut butter try them! Lastly, One Direction's new album midnight memories! Oh my gosh I love this, I'm already obsessed and it is amazinggg! I seriously recommend you guys go pick this up you will not be disappointed!
So Sunday meant it was time for a new video and as promised it was November's Glossybox! As I've said in the post it was a good un! Well that's my opinion! By all means feel free to check out the post for a more in depth review! As always I shall post the video below if you haven't already seen it! Have a lovely week!

apricot and basil.

'iya lovelies,
This is a product I wouldn't normally look twice at in The Body Shop. It took me long enough to find it on their website. I believe it's only available in stores though. As for a price I cannot find a price for it! I know it's more expensive than their regular shower gels though if that's of any use. Regular shower gels retail at £4 which isn't bad for a 250ml bottle.
What I really love about this product is how well it lathers up. I cannot stress enough how much I love a shower gel that lathers up well without having to use a ton of product. I've come across that do that it's an irritation! This smells absolutely gorgeous. Not typically a fruity person when it comes to shower gels but this scent is just gorgeous. Side not - we all know how I feel about my scents!
My skin feels so soft after using it. It's like a dream! I don't want this to run out because by the looks of it it's a pain to get your hands on! I received this for my birthday though so really impressed with this product! I'd recommend it to anyone however I think your best chance of finding this would be on Amazon or a beauty website that sell discontinued items. If all else fails Google it ;)
Do you love The Body Shop?!

rimmel wake me up concealer.

'iya lovelies,
Okay, so you guys know about my love for the Rimmel wake me up foundation. I've raved about it on here and my Youtube channel enough! Now let's take some time to appreciate this little beauty which is the Rimmel wake me up concealer. Hands down my all time favourite concealer is the Collection lasting perfection concealer. However this comes in at the #1 spot with it! I adore this concealer so much. I purchased this back in the summer just as something to try out because the foundation is so good!
I love that the packaging is similar to the foundation. Orange lid, hello obsession. This has a doe foot applicator which is perfect for under the eyes and to put on blemishes. These applicators are by far my fav! It's Rimmel's first full coverage concealer. I love this on blemishes it's so good! It's like a dream under the eyes as well. It's really easy to work with, super creamy and easy to blend. It's not cakey either, some concealers I find under the eyes can look quite cakey.
I was a bit worried about the wake me up side of things thinking it was going to illuminate blemishes but it really doesn't. It makes you look instantly refreshed and awake under the eyes which is fab for if you're ill or just tired (not had enough sleep). That's me right now! Like the foundation it's got the anti-fatigue affect. I don't always pair the two together but they do look lovely together or alone. Whichever is your preference. If you loved the foundation and you love the collection concealer then you will absolutely fall in love with this product!

the glossy wishlist: november glossybox uk 2013.

'iya lovelies,
Guess what time it is?! It's time for November's Glossybox post! I love doing these types of posts they're one of my favourites! The video for this will be going up Sunday so keep your eyes peeled for that! First of let's actually talk about what this month is about. Again you've got your magazine which tells you trends, lip colours etc. Definitely worth a read if you want to keep in with the season! This month is all about the Glossy Wishlist. With December quickly approaching as is Christmas. This month sees a selection of products aimed at your skin to moisturise and improve skin quality. I'm really impressed because 4 out of the 5 products are in fact full size!

The main thing that caught my eye with this months box is how full it seems. That might sound a little strange but if you take a look at the picture above it's packed to the brim with goodies. That's what I like and I think that's how I knew it was going to be a good box! Secondly you receive this super cute little miniature bar of chocolate. Hello, that's always going to go down well with us girls right?! We all love a bit of chocolate here and there. When I received this box I actually had to wait until filming the video before I could tuck into that cute little bar! There's no complaints from me this month I'm one happy bunny!
"Clinically proven to remove rough, hard skin and promote natural cell renewal, Scholl dry skin exfoliater will leave your feet feeling soft, smooth and conditioned - just what the party season calls for!"
Application: Apply to clean dry skin. Massage over feet in circular motion, then rinse. For best results use 2-3 times a week.
£4.49 for 60ml
I know when products like this come up it's normally hit or miss. Feet is something that I see people talking about. I don't know why we just don't. It's a bit like urgh. Reality of it is though everyone get's dry skin on their feet so why not actually try a product that's going to work! I am going to put this one to the test to see if it works! If so I shall be back talking more about feet! Okay I think that's enough about feet for now..

"The ultimate cult beauty saviour for busy women on the go. The Elegant Touch Rapid dry for nails with added vitamin E dries nail polish in 60 seconds, conditions cuticles and leaves the nails looking incredibly polished.
Application: Spray over nails at a distance of 10cm. No need to wait, polish is touch dry and glossy in 60 seconds.
£3 for 125ml

When I saw this I thought hello new favourite product. This was a god send. Saturday night I went out and had to repaint my nails and turn them into something so glittery and sparkly because the black I had on had chipped! Typical aye. When I saw this I was like oh my where have you been I need you in my life. I honestly think this is the most excited I've been about a product in a Glossybox. I am so keen to give this a go. In fact I may do that tonight. Paint my nails and give this a go! I'm expecting big things from this!

"Introducing Vichy's first skin idealiser, a unique product that helps transform the appearance of skin's quality. Help protect your skin from the visible effects of stress, pollution, smoke or an unbalanced diet. An all round skin saviour.
Application: apply every morning and/or evening underneath your usual moisturiser or on its own avoiding the eye area.
£29.50 for 30ml
Okay the first thing that excited me about this product was oh my goodness look at how cute the packaging is! Tiny little samples really excite me and it comes in this gorgeous little keepsake bag which of course I'm keeping! I've not tried this out but shall be reporting back when I have tried it! It looks promising and sounds heavenly good so lets put it to the test!

"Protect your hands as the temperature falls with Yves Rocher hand cream. With an indulgent scent and an ultra-moisturising formula your hands will be grateful for this nourishing treat.
£1.95 for 75ml
Buy the Yves Rocher Raspberry Home fragrance + Raspberry sparkling shower gel using code GLORASPB and receive a free perfumed shower gel + nourishing lip balm + hand cream! Expires 31.12.13.

Okay so first of let's just take a moment to appreciate the scent. If you guys received this honestly you're gonna know what I'm talking about right here. It smells of terry's chocolate orange. Hello heavenly goodness. I just want to eat it smells that good! Again I love hand creams. My hands get incredibly dry this time of year so I'm excited to put this to the test!

"Emite micronized eyeshadow is completely free from oil, nickel, parabens and perfume. The pigment is micronized to facilitate application and to create and even and lasting result. Ideal for lens wearers or those with sensitive eyes."
Application: Apply with a make up brush and blend well over eye.

So first of this is the only make up product in the box. I think it's nice they still threw one of these in. The texture is buttery soft which excited me greatly! It looks much darker in the pan however I've discovered you can build this up. I have used this pigment and you can smoke it out for a gorgeous smoky look. It blends easily and lasts all day which I love. It has a bit of sparkle in it too which is perfect for the holiday season! I'm actually really impressed with this product!

So I think this months box is a winner for me. I know there are always mixed reviews however for me I think it's one of their better ones. Everything in here I'm excited to try! Let me know if you are or not impressed I'd love to know your thoughts!

english rose.

'iya lovelies,

This is honestly one of my favourite purchases this year from MUA. It's an absolutely gorgeous blush. It may look a bit scary in the compact as there's light pinks, dark pinks, lilacs, peaches, hot pinks. Every colour you can think of basically. Swirl your brush around in it and it creates the most gorgeous colour. It's shimmery so if shimmer is not your thing I'm not too sure if this would be for you. It's not too shimmery though, it gives you that healthy glow on your cheeks. What I love about this blush is you can build up and have a slightly more contoured look to your cheeks or use it quite lightly for a hint of colour. Where there are so many colours in this I think it would look gorgeous on any skin tone. Also it would look so different. I've found in winter when I'm pale as anything this looks so different to summer when I'm tanned and either way it still looks gorgeous. There's a decent amount of product in here so it will last you ages and at just £2.50! This is available from their website linked above. I purchased mine from Superdrug however I cannot find it on their website, perhaps check in stores!
have you tried any MUA blushes?!

mid week round up #8

Good Morning Lovelies,
I can't believe we're almost in December that's absolutely ridiculous to me. The time really is flying by. Anyway, moving slowly on. I've banned myself from buying make up until after Xmas. However I went into Superdrug and you know what I'm like I see offers and I'm instantly drawn to them. I've been swooning over the new Barry M matte collection and somehow they all fell in to my basket. As it for 3 for 2, a glitter textured nail polish that reminded me of snow fell in to my basket too. Oopsie.. I've tried out two of the polishes and so far I love the finish they're gorgeous! Expect to see a full review on those coming up soon. Watch this space!
Saturday I went out, as I've said I probably only go out now once a month. I've got a good group of friends and we go to the same club every time just because you're always guaranteed a good time! Cheap drinks, good music.. what more do you need right?! First of I really loved my dress and I featured that in last weeks mid week round up post! Second of all I really liked my make up. Of course I go for dramatic eyes on a night out, I can't not. Following that came the bold lip as per. I used the Rimmel apocolips in big bang. It's a gorgeous classic red, really vivid and looks stunning. It's safe to say too much Sambuca pre-drinking and then too much sambuca in general left me hungover Sunday which left me chilling out in my onesie and watching Harry Potter. Is it just me or when you get in from a night out do you literally just jump straight into bed?! The thought of taking off all your make up just doesn't excite me in the slightest. Come Sunday morning I'm looking like a panda with make up all down my face. I was so lazy Sunday I only wiped of the majority of it, Monday there were still traces! Personally wouldn't recommend that and last night I had a deep cleanse! When I do things like that I like to have make up free days to give my skin time to breathe! If I don't I find my skin then plays up for weeks!

All in all Saturday was a really good night. Monday was another lazy day for myself. Yesterday I had a thousand and one problems with filming videos, but it was my filming day. Typically that means I'm not doing anything that day so I'm going to wear pj bottoms and put on a top to make it look like I'm actually dressed when I'm not. Slap on some make up just to take it straight off again after filming and have a thousand and one bloopers! My Glossybox post shall be going up on my channel on Sunday! I'm so impressed with this months box! Expect to see the blog post here on Friday!
As for Sunday's video that went up Monday.. oops. It was an old get ready with me which I found whilst editing newer content. It's a gorgeous simple quick everyday look using Maybelline color tattoo's. I love these they're so versatile. You can use them on their own as a basic cream shadow or use them as a base and apply a shadow over the top. Completely up to you how you want to wear them but whichever way you choose they look gorgeous. I shall post the video below for you!

denman dressing out.

'iya lovelies,
So I've had these in my beauty collection for a while I believe I purchased this back in February March time. Since then It's been a little beauty. It's great for two things, sectioning pieces of hair as the tail of this brush is so thin. It's also perfect for backcombing your hair. I find this gives the best results rather than taking a normal brush and trying to do it that way. You get a more precise finish with this little miracle. Backcombing your hair isn't necessarily good for your hair so I keep it to as little as possible. I like to do it to give my hair some oomph and then finish it off with my favourite hairspray. I will do this more for nights out especially or if I've curled my hair and I'm looking for some volume when it comes to my roots. My hair can tend to look a little flat when its called so I like to go for the messier look! I'd totally recommend this line of hair brushes! I'm keen to take a look at some of their other hair brushes!
Have you tried any Denman products?!

the nude edit - topshop lipsticks.

'iya lovelies,
Remember that post I did a few weeks ago regarding some topshop lipsticks?! Well I'm back with the nude part of it. I own a lot of their nude lipsticks so I've grouped them all together especially for this post. I love their lipsticks their honestly some of the best I have in my collection. Coming in at £8 a lippy, certainly cheaper than MAC and I actually prefer them over MAC. At the minute I'm into my reds and berry shades but for everyday I will throw on a nude if I can decide. As you know by now every haul I do somehow a lipstick always no matter what I try ends up in my bag!

This is a really pale pink colour. Personally I don't think I could pull this off all year round because it is really pale. I think it's one of them colours that's gorgeous if you've got a bit of colour on you otherwise it can go horribly wrong and look like you're ill!

This shade is gorgeous. It's a slightly darker nude with more of a pink tone. This a colour which I think would look beautiful on anyone. I often like to pair this colour with a smoky eye to neutralise it a little bit.

One of my all time favourite lipsticks from Topshop. It's definitely darker than the first one but it's more of a blue toned pink. It's almost like a barbie pink in this swatch. It's lighter than that though and looks absolutely gorgeous for day to day wear.

I think this is your standard nude. It's not too pink but it's not too much on the nude side it makes you look washed out and ill. Again it's one of my most used nude shades I have in my collection because it's so versatile. You can pair this with a natural eye look or a more dramatic one and it looks gorgeous either way!

This colour is beautiful. It leans more towards the peachy tones, but it's a gorgeous nude. It gives you that extra bit of colour which you can sometimes lose with a nude lipstick. This one I love wearing through spring and summer especially because it's that gorgeous peach summery colour. A must have in everyone's collection I'd say!

Just because I know how different swatches can look on the lips to on the back of your hand I've given you both options. As you can see they're all beautiful shades and I'm sure you could find to match your skin tone. Whimsical which is the far right looks more peachy on this swatch and gives you a little more of an idea of what I was talking about ;) Overall my favourites from this batch is definitely Innocent (middle shade) and Whimsical!
Do you have any Topshop lipsticks?
